Men surrender after fatal wedding shooting

Four men have surrendered to police following a shooting incident at a wedding procession on Sunday in Chon Buri's Bang Lamung district that led to the death of a male bystander.

The four men – aged 20 to 30 – told police that they fired their guns skywards to celebrate their friend's wedding and they did not know how the bystander was killed.
Huai Yai Police Station superintendent Colonel Anan Phurahong said police collected fingerprints and conducted gun residue tests on the four men before releasing them.
He said that after it was determined which gun killed the man and who pulled the trigger, they would summon the shooter to face charges and prosecution.

The incident occurred at Ban Huai Khainao Moo 4 in Tambon Khao Mai Kaew.
Killed was local man Thanes Inthawong, 36, who was shot in the chest while talking with friends in front of a mushroom farm about 100 metres from the parade.
