New ZTE smartphone offers bokeh, 3D photos experience

ZTE has launched its latest smartphone – the ZTE Blade V8 Mini – and will initially be available for purchase in various markets across Asia Pacific and Europe.

The Blade V8 Mini sports a 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel dual rear camera that works concurrently with the rear flash, wonderful for taking bokeh photos similar to those produced by an SLR camera.
A refocus mode lets you select the focus area after shooting and F1.0~F8.0 gives you different photo effects. The Blade V8 Mini also supports 3D shooting, which combines two photos from the dual camera into one to generate a 3D picture, as well as manual mode, auto HDR, and multiple camera mode. The moonlight flash feature on the front-facing camera is especially ideal for users who want to take high-quality selfies.
A multi-function fingerprint sensor is located on the Blade V8 Mini’s back, allowing for 360-degree finger scans and 0.3 second touch access. You can use your fingerprint to launch a corresponding app when phone screen is off or locked, and create private space to encrypt pictures, videos, documents, phone books, and SMS to protect your privacy. It also allows users to view encrypted apps.
The Blade V8 Mini features a 5.0-inch HD screen. The phone has a metallic lustre, with a body created using diamond-cutting technology. With curved-edge glass, the Blade V8 Mini is comfortable to hold in your hand.
The Blade V8 Mini runs Android Nougat customised with ZTE's MiFavor 4.2 UI and features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor. It supports 4G+(optional), 4G and 3G carrier aggregation.
"We are delighted to confirm the availability of the ZTE Blade V8 Mini, a device packed with a range of fun and innovative features,” said a ZTE spokesperson. “ZTE is constantly listening to its customers and we wanted to deliver a device that takes photography and VR experiences to a new level.”
