Dusit Thani Bangkok lease with Crown Property Bureau renewed
Dusit Thani, a hotel and property-development company, announced on Wednesday that it had signed an agreement with the Crown Property Bureau to continue leasing a plot of land at the intersection of Silom and Rama IV roads, on which the Dusit Thani Bangkok stands.
The lease will be extended by 30 years with the right to extend for another 30 years.
Chanin Donavanik, vice chairman of Dusit and chairman of its executive committee, said that together with its partner Central Pattana, his company would further elevate Dusit Thani Bangkok’s standing as one of the world’s renowned hotels.
It will also build a landmark mixed-use real-estate development worth up to Bt36.7 billion that features a hotel, residences, retail areas and office space, with a large green space, he said.
