National police chief plays down rumours of Phra Dhammachayo’s escape abroad
Police Commissioner General Pol Gen Chakthip Chaijinda Saturday dismissed as rumours speculations that former Wat Dhammakaya abbot Phra Dhammachayo had fled abroad.
He said police had detected no information that the fugitive monk had fled out of the kingdom.
He said immigration police had no information about the monk leaving the country.
