BMA to improve walkways between Rajprasong-Chidlom intersections
The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration will improve walkways between the Rajprasong and Chidlom intersections to make more wheelchair-friendly, BMA governor Assawin Kwanmuang said Monday.
He said the improvement would be done to make the 400-metre walkways on each side of the road conform to the international standard so that the walkways would be usable by all people, including the disabled and elderly.
BMA spokeswoman Tridao Apaiwong said that after the project is completed, the BMA would improve walkways in other areas, including those along Rama I road, Phayathai road, Rama IV road and Rajdamri road.
