Red shirts meet at Defence Ministry for reconciliation talks

The red-shirt United Front for Democracy Against Dictatorship’s 10 leading figures will join reconciliation talks at the Defence Ministry on Wednesday.

The group reportedly will be led by its leader and spokesman Nattawut Saikua as well as other key figures such as Thida and Weng Tojirakarn.
The group’s proposal will involve two parts.
One is its answers to the 10 questions laid out by the regime and the other is its perspective on reconciliation such as democratic principles and the rule of law.
The faction formerly known as the People’s Democratic Reform Committee, led by Suthep Thaugsuban, will attend the talks on Friday.
