NRSA ethics panel looking into member’s ‘knuckle' attack on waiter

After days of controversy over a reformer’s ‘noogie’ scandal, the National Reform Steering Assembly (NRSA) on Thursday passed on the case to the NRSA’s ethics committee.

NRSA whip spokesman Kamnoon Sidhisamarn clarified on Thursday that the NRSA president Tinnapan Nakata had not ignored the controversy and had passed an order on Tuesday.
Tinnapan had told the ethics committee to look into the case of NRSA member Anusawn Chirapongse, who has been accused of hitting a waiter on the head with his knuckle, in accordance with the Assembly’s Code of Conduct, Kamnoon said.
After looking into the case, NRSA second vice president Walairat Sri-arun, who also chairs the ethics committee, would make a statement.
