Two killed, three injured in passenger van crash
A Bangkok to Suphan Buri passenger van crashed into a tree in Suphan Buri’s Bang Plama district on Tuesday morning, killing the driver and a passenger.
Police said three other passengers were injured in the accident that happened at about 7.30 am in Moo 9 village in Tambon Takha.
The driver and the dead passenger, who was sitting behind the driver, were trapped inside the van and died at the scene.
The injured passengers were taken to Bang Plama Hospital.
The survivors told police that the van swerved before crashing into the tree.
