Five more arrest warrants over death of conscript
Five more arrest warrants for soldiers allegedly involved in the case of a conscript killed in Surat Thani will be issued, bringing the total number of suspects to 10.
Surat Thani Police deputy superintendent Pol Col Wichob Kerdkliang on Wednesday asked the military court to issue the arrest warrants for the soldiers, including both sergeants and privates, who were on duty in the camp’s prison and outside of the camp when Private Yuthinan Boonniam was killed last week.
More details on the warrants will be disclosed in a press briefing after the court approves the petition submitted by Maj-General Wichai Thassan-amontian, commander of Military Circle 45, and Pol Maj-General Apichart Bunsrirote, commander of Surat Thani provincial police.
