Some roads closed to vehicles in Samut Prakan for Songkran celebrations

Vehicles will be barred from entering several roads in Samut Prakan province as the Songkran Phra Pradaeng Festival starts at 10am today.

Vehicles carrying water, and Songkran revellers, are barred from 10am till 8pm on Puchao Samin Prai Road (from the Puchao Saming Prai intersection to Wat Laem Pier), Industrial Ring Road, Phra Ratchawiriraporn Road, Songtham Road, New Khru Nai Road, and four other roads. 
Car parking is also banned on several other roads, including the Nakhon Kheun Khan and Sri Kheun Khan roads. 
The Songkran Phra Pradaeng Festival in Samut Prakan usually takes place about one week after other parts of the country celebrate the festival.
