Smuggled semen came from two men, tests show
Khon Kaen Hospital announced on Wednesday that DNA tests had confirmed the semen in six tubes seized while being smuggled from Thailand into Laos belonged to just two men.
Customs officials in Nong Khai foiled the smuggling attempt on April 20. The carrier was arrested and fined.
Hospital director Dr Charnchai Chanworachaikul said DNA tests had confirmed that the semen in three tubes came from one man and the rest from another, but it has not yet been determined whether the men were Thais or foreigners.
