Rubber tapper worker killed when trees fall on his hut in Songkhla
A rubber tapper was killed on Wednesday morning when a giant tree fell on his hut at a rubber plantation in Songkhla’s Na Thawee district, police said.
The worker was identified as Boonlad Promprod, 45, a resident of Moo 1 in Tambon Chang in Na Thawee.
He was staying at the hut so that he could wake up to tap the rubber trees early in the morning when the 30-metre-tall tree fell onto the hut and crushed him to death.
