Crocodile undergoes corporate name change

Crocodile, a well-known brand for construction industry products, is preparing for the 4.0 era with a corporate name change. The change was officially announced at the Architect Fair 2017.

The Crocodile brand has been consistently entering global markets and aims to become the leader in Southeast Asia with the introduction of two innovative Crocodile products – “the extreme adhesive” and “stucco colours”.
The company, formerly known as Cera C-Cure Co Ltd has been renamed Jorakay Corporation Co Ltd. 
Jorakay Corporation Co Ltd, the manufacturer and distributor of the Crocodile brand and the Thailand’s leader in tile adhesives and grout products for over 25 years, aims to become No 1 in Southeast Asia with an aggressive marketing plan in the Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam (CLMV) markets, especially Myanmar and Vietnam. 
Suppapong Phetsuit, president of Jorakay Corporation, announced at the Architect Fair 2017 that the corporate name change had taken effect from the end of March this year. “The reason behind this change is, as a manufacturer and distributor we would like to use the brand name Jorakay (Crocodile) for both our products and the company,” he said.
“The corporate name change is a big move for the Crocodile brand which has been known for over 25 years in the construction industry as Thailand's number 1 manufacturer and distributor of adhesives, grout, tiling, waterproofing, and stucco colour products.”
He said Jorakay Corporation has more than 4,000 distributors both local and overseas, especially in CLMV countries. Sales for this year are expected to grow 15-20 per cent year on year, especially in CLMV countries, to reach the target of Bt2.8 billion by the end of this year, he said.
