Apex plans mixed-use project at Patong Beach after debenture approved
Apex Development is negotiating with a Phuket landlord to develop a mixed-use project that combines residential units, a boutique hotel, a theme park and an entertainment complex at Patong Beach this year.
The development is possible after the company's shareholders approved a debenture issue worth Bt2 billion for its business expansion this year, chief executive officer Pongphan Sampawakoop said in a press release on Monday.
Meanwhile, the company is developing four projects worth up to Bt12 billion that will generate revenue from this year through 2019. They are Movenpick Resort & Residences, Sheraton Phuket Grand Bay Resort & Grand Bay Residences, Four Points by Sheraton Pattaya Resort & Jomtien Bay Residences, and Hyatt Centric Phuket Resort & Residences. The last one is on the Mai Kao beachfront in Phuket.
