Uniceff Thailand condemns indiscriminate attack against children in Pattani
The Uniceff Thailand expressed concerns over children injured in Pattani coordinated bomb attacks and condemned such indiscriminate attacks.
Thomas Davin, representative of Uniceff Thailand, said in the statement that the attacks on a busy shopping centre, where children and families were present, were unacceptable.
“According to reports, children are among the dozens of people injured in the bomb attack on a large and busy shopping centre in Pattani, Thailand, this afternoon. UNICEF condemns such indiscriminate attacks on civilian areas, where children and their families are known to be present. No child’s life should ever be put at risk in this way. This is wholly unacceptable,” Davin said.
