HK activist Wong tweets support for Netiwit after Chula incident
Young Hong Kong activist Joshua Wong has tweeted in support of Netiwit Chotiphatphaisal following a threatening incident on Chulalongkorn University’s campus on Monday.
Wong tweeted on Tuesday that it would not be easy dealing with the threats from the ruling class, but they should continue fighting against it.
Last October, the duo made international headlines as Thai authorities blocked Wong from entering the Kingdom when he had been invited by Netiwit to speak at an event marking the 40th anniversary of the October 6 massacre at Thammasat University in 1976.
Two men on a motorcycle called for Netiwit in a loud, threatening manner outside a Chula canteen on Monday, but sped off after getting no response.
