Acting on a tip-off, police raided Wat Thon Hong in tambon Thon Hong in Prom Khiri district at about 11.30pm and arrested the three monks, who were identified by their layman names as Wattana Sudrak, 29, Damrongsak Promdej, 31, and Atthapol Samleenil, 23. 
Police found the three holding a party in which krathom was drunk.&nbsp; 
Police also found 30 methamphetamine pills and eight nine-millimetre bullets in their living quarters. 
The three were defrocked and arrested.&nbsp; 
Police said the men admitted selling meth to teenagers near the temple.

Three monks defrocked, arrested for alleged drug dealing

Police arrested three Buddhist monks in Nakhon Si Thammarat province late Monday night for alleged drug use and dealing.
