Phu Kradueng National Park to be closed for a month in June
Phu Kradueng Natiional Park chief Sombat Pimprasit said the park will be closed for one month starting June 1.
He said the park is closed annually during the rainy season in June as the terrain could be dangerous for tourists during the period of heavy rains. The closure would also allow the nature to rehabilitate itself.
Park officials will also repair accommodation facilities during the closure, he said.
However, the tourist centre at the base of the mountain and the Tad Hong waterfall will remain open to tourists, Sombat added.
