14.1 million people register in lower-income group
Some 14.1 million people have registered in the lower-income group as on May 15, according to the Finance Ministry.
Pornchai Thiraveja, financial adviser at the Finance Ministry’s Fiscal Policy Office, said on Wednesday that the registration took place from April 3 to May 15.
The people registered themselves at Government Savings Bank, Krungthai Bank, Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives, Provincial Office of the Comptroller-General nationwide, and Bangkok Metropolitan Office.
The Finance Ministry will investigate the names and the final list of lower-income people eligible for government support would be put up from May 22 to June 2 at its three websites: www.epayment.go.th, www.mof.go.th, and www.fpo.go.th.
