Supitcha denies any wrongdoing, insisting she never exploited borrowers, but there are now 17 formal complaints filed against her and investigators expect more people to come forward. 
Supitcha surrendered to police on Tuesday after an arrest warrant was issued on May 11, accusing her of public fraud, charging excessive interest on loans and forging a document.&nbsp; 
Police on Wednesday searched for further evidence at her three motorcycle showrooms in Mueang Nakhon Phanom. 
Supitcha&rsquo;s accusers allege that she not only charged excessive interest charges but also seized land they put up as collateral.

Accusations mount against alleged loan shark

Suspected loan shark Supitcha Apichatphokhin appeared in Nakhon Phanom Provincial Court on Wednesday, with prosecutors asking that bail be denied and the number of her accusers rising to 17.
