Four soldiers wounded in Yala bomb attack

Four soldiers received minor wounds when insurgents detonated a roadside homemade bomb in Yala province on Monday morning.

Police said the explosion occurred at about 9.50am at the top of the road leading to the Yala Islamic centre in tambon Sateng Nok, Muang district.
The four soldiers were patrolling the road on two motorcycles when the bomb was detonated. 
The bomb is believed to have weighed about 10 kilograms.
The injured soldiers were taken to Yala Hospital. 
They are Sergeant Weera Meerit, Private Apisak Rakdee, Private Kraisorn Ruangkit and Private Damrong Pilaphan.
They were hit by bomb shrapnel on the arms and legs.
Police believe the attack was carried out by an insurgency group led by Roki Dohloh.
