Army hospital bombing: Parliament security beefed up

Parliament has stepped up its security measures following the bombing at Bangkok Army Hospital.

Sorasak Piravej, secretary to the House of Representatives Secretariate Office and acting secretary to Parliament, said Parliament is not considered a prime target but as prominent figures work there, security has been beefed up.
CCTV has been boosted to monitor Parliament around the clock while more security officers have been deployed in the area, Sorasak said.
Every person entering the compound must show his or her identity card, he added.
