Laotian worker delivers boy in rescue van
A Laotian worker delivered a baby boy in a rescue van while being taken to a hospital in Samut Prakan province early Wednesday.
The woman was identified as Pingkham Saengmanee, 35.
A van belonging to Ruam Kusol Samut Prakan Foundation rushed to the camp site of the workers in front of Okawa Logistics Co Ltd in Moo 2 village in Tambon Praekkasa, Muang district, at 1am after being alerted that a pregnant woman needed to be urgently taken to hospital.
Shortly after the van left the site, the woman delivered a baby boy.
The foundation staff called Samut Prakan Hospital to send an ambulance to help the new mother and take her and the baby to the hospital.
