Nine injured as Lao ambulance overturns in Loei
An ambulance from Laos overturned at a road curve in Loei province on Sunday, injuring all nine people inside.
The casualties included two Lao patients who had been attacked by a buffalo and were being transferred to a medical facility in Thailand. They were identified as Ton Sintawong and Luea Yodkaeo.
“Four of their relatives, a nurse and a doctor were also in the ambulance,” Sinjai Seesa-ard, the 30-year-old ambulance driver, said.
Sinjai said the road accident did not cause any serious injury.
