Four men arrested for ‘selling drugs’ on Facebook

Police and troops raided an apartment in Bangkok’s Saphan Sung district early Monday morning and arrested four men for allegedly selling drugs on Facebook and mailing them to customers disguised as soap.

Patrol and Special Operation Division (191) commander Pol Maj-General Surachet Hakpal led police and troops to raid the Wun Wan Home apartment on Soi Ramkhamhaeng 112 and arrested the four suspects at about 10 minutes after midnight.
They were identified as Natchapol Ketbuakaew, 21, Paradorn Sirichartchai, 24, Apimook Boonma, 23, and Siriwat Saengsi, 26.
The authorities found 40,000 methamphetamine pills, 10 kilograms of marijuana and 150 grams of crystal meth or “ice” in the apartment.
Surachet quoted the suspects as allegedly saying that they have been selling drugs for 11 months.
Surachet said five bank saving books were seized that showed the group was making about Bt2 million a month.
