Traffic chaos after flooding hits Chaeng Wattana Road
The notorious Chaeng Wattana Road in Nonthaburi’s Pak Kret district is under up to 50 centimetres of water following three hours of heavy rain on Tuesday morning.
Traffic police said the road was flooded on both sides.
They said the two lanes on the frontage road of the inbound Chaeng Wattana Road was under about 50cm of water.
The flooding caused traffic snarls on both sides of the road throughout the morning.
Three lanes of the inbound Tiwanon Road from Suan Somdej Park to the Muang Thong Thani Intersection were also under water.
