Driver electrocuted after car crashes into power pole in Nong Bua Lamphu

A 25-year-old man was electrocuted early on Tuesday after he crashed his car and exited the vehicle upon seeing the arrival of rescuers on a road in Nong Bua Lamphu.

After crashing into a power pole on Ban Hun Nagarm-Kudsathien Road in front of Kudjik Witthaya School in Tambon Hun Nagarm in Nong Bua Lamphu’s Si Boonruang district at 1am, Phuwadej called his father, a deputy inspector at the Si Boonruang police station.
Pol Lieutenant Boon Chanma in turn alerted rescuers who rushed to the scene.
Rescuers told police that while they were parking their vehicle, they saw Phuwadej get out of his car and his head hit the tip of a hanging power cable, causing a loud explosion.
The rescuers said the man fell to the ground unconscious. They gave him CPR and rushed him to Si Boonruang Hospital but he died on the way.
Boon arrived at the scene when the rescues were trying to resuscitate the son.
