Villager found dead on Nakhon Nayok mountain
A villager has been found dead on a mountain in Nakhon Nayok near the Khao Yai national park.
Paiboon Jitsangiam, head of Moo 1 village in Tambon Sarika in Nakhon Nayok’s Mueang district, said the body of Chamnong Buranapaet, 56, was found at 2pm onThursday on Klong Madua mountain.
Paiboon said Prachuap Homlert, 50, another villager, found Chamnong sitting with his back against a tree.
The village headman said Prachuap went up the mountain to collect edible plants and spotted the body about two kilometres from the foot of the mountain.
Volunteers and officials retrieved Chamnong's body at 10.50pm and it was kept at a temple pending a check by officials.
