Bangkok raid nets four suspects and leaves

Four suspects were netted, along with 4.5 kilograms of Krathom leaves, in a pre-dawn police raid of the Rom Klao Housing Estate's flats number 17-18 in Bangkok's Lat Krabang district, Pol Maj-General Surachet Hakpan, head of the 191 emergency response unit, announced on Friday.

Police search operations at another seven targeted locations around the same time led to the arrest of three suspects wanted for three separate crimes.
The suspects, whose arrest warrants were issued earlier this year were: Siriporn Jittrinet, wanted for a fraud case in Chon Buri; Supakrit Rasinuan, 19, wanted for an attempted murder case in Bangkok; and Suthat Ketman, wanted for a Bankok robbery.
Police also apprehended Wasan Noisantia, 18, who was the administrator of three Facebook pages that allegedly support others to race motorcycles on public roads without regard for safety. A Bangkok court issued an arrest warrant for him on July 12.
Surachet also reported that police operations from July 16-21 also netted nine suspects in Bangkok, Chumphon, Khamphaeng Phetch, and Surat Thani. They were accused of being involved in online drug dealing. The raids netted a total of 5,915 yaba pills, 120.85 grams of crystal meth or "ice", 200 Krathom leaves, 10 grams of marijuana, one shotgun and 57 bullets.
