Sakhon Nakhon governor directs flood operations
Sakhon Nakhon Governor Witthaya Chanchalong visited flooded areas in Muang district to oversee the rescue operations for stranded residents early Saturday.
He was seen supervising the operations at the scene at 3am.
He told reporters that the flood situation in his province is being assessed on an hourly basis.
He said 43 communities in Muang Sakhon Nakhon Municipality area were flooded, affecting some 30,000 residents.
