King sends help to Kalasin flood victims
His Majesty the King has granted bags of food and other necessities to 2,602 families whose houses have been hit by floods in Kalasin.
On Tuesday, His Majesty had ACM Yothin Prayoonphokkharaj and the Rajaprajanugroh Foundation hand over the bags to 1,457 families at the Kalasin Muang district office at 10am.
They are 597 families from Muang district, 192 from Don Charn district, 70 from Yan Talat district, 477 from Kung Si district, and 121 from Rong Kham district.
At 1.30pm, Yothin handed over bags of necessities to 1,145 families from Kamalasai district at the Kamalasai district office.
The families’ homes were hit by flooding after tropical storm Sonca unleashed heavy rains on Friday.
