Starbucks opens 300th Thai store with unusual brewing

Looking as much like a chemistry set as a coffee shop, the 300th Starbucks shop in Thailand features the Starbucks Reserve Experience Bar.

Customers can enjoy the exclusive experience at the new store at Zpell Rangsit. There they’ll find Siphon, an intricate and theatrical method of brewing coffee using vapour pressure and vacuum force to extract coffee flavour. Starbucks promises the resulting coffee will be clean, crisp and smooth.
Then there’s Chemax, a hybrid brewing method of pour-over and full immersion that highlights the brighter notes in coffee and yields a clean and sweet cup, according to the company that invented the concept of “coffee culture” and exported it around the world. Or how about experiencing the Starbucks Nitro Cold Brew that Starbucks says are the best coffee beans sourced. This cold brew blend process is infused with nitrogen and served without ice, straight from the tab with a velvety, creamy beer-like texture, ensuring a cup of cold coffee that is true to its origin.
For something a bit more traditional, the coffee bar offers Victoria Arduiro – Black Eagle VA 388 edition, delivering the best premium espresso drinks in every cup, says the company.
The store has a unique and remarkable design, influenced by the Starbucks Reserve Roastery from Seattle, US, with the selection of the distinct pattern art from Rwanda.
