Two arrested with pangolins in Loei
A man and a woman were arrested in Loei on Wednesday for illegally trading in pangolins, a protected species.
Chamnian Chanthakhun, 56, from Phitsanulok, was arrested while delivering three of the animals to Amphen Pithak, 63, in the village of Ban Ahee on the Lao border in Tha Li district.
Both were taken to the Phone Thong police station for further legal action.
