Mahasarakham cops sweep up 52,000 meth pills

A Pathum Thani man has been arrested for allegedly attempting to deliver nearly 2,000 tablets of methamphetamine to a contact in Mahasarakham.

According to police, he turned out to have far more back home.
Acting on a tip-off, police staked out at location in the village of Ban Jok Kwang in Wapi Pathum district and arrested Krissana Wanwaja, 56.
They found 1,990 meth pills hidden in his car, then took him to his condominium in Pathum Thani and discovered 50,000 more.
Mahasarakham police announced the arrest at their headquarters on Thursday morning.
