Tree tumbles in storm, blacks out Yala village
A 30-metre-tall tree felled in a rainstorm blocked a road in Yala’s Betong district early Tuesday morning and knocked down several utility poles, blacking out Piyamit 2 village.
Sahoh Sakeng, 41, who lives nearby, said the tree came down at about 4am amid heavy rain.
