Firefighters battle blaze at Chatuchak Market
A fire broke out in Bangkok's Chatuchak Weekend Market’s Project 16 block on Sunday morning but firefighters extinguished the flames in less than 30 minutes.
There was no report of death or injury and officials were inspecting the damage. The fire started at 7.20am at the market section that houses shops selling vases, candles and jot sticks. Sutthisan firefighters had put it out by 7.40am.
