Although it is vast, the Royal Crematorium at Sanam Luang in Bangkok won’t be able to accommodate everyone who wishes to attend the ceremonies.
On Royal Cremation Day, when the symbolic royal cremation will take place at 5.30pm and the actual cremation at 10pm, people are allowed to offer sandalwood flowers at various designated sites for two periods: from 9am to 4.30pm and from 6.30pm-10pm.

The 878 specially-built pyres for burning funeral flowers will be near the replicas and at other designated sites, which will all be completed by October 20.
