KFC outlets to close for royal cremation

KFC outlets across the country will be closed on October 26 from 3pm in deference to the cremation rites for His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

Management and staff of KFC Thailand, Yum Restaurants International (Thailand) and franchise partners Central Restaurant Group and Restaurant Development will be joining other citizens in paying respects to the late monarch.
Outlets at Tesco Lotus markets will close at 2pm and KFC Delivery service will stop taking orders at 1.30pm. 
KFC restaurants and Delivery will resume operations as usual on October 27.
KFC management said it “fully supports” employees participating in royal cremation ceremonies taking place around the country on October 26.
