The event opened the five-day ceremonies from during Wednesday to Sunday in preparation for the Royal Cremation at the ceremonial grounds in Sanam Luang. 
Arrived at 3pm, HM the King was accompanied by Royal Family members including his sisters HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and Princess Ubolratana Rajakanya as well as his daughters HRH Princess Bajra Kitiyabha and HRH Sirivannavari Nariratana.

His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn on Wednesday presided over a royal merit-making ceremony for his father, His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Aduyadej, at Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall in the Grand Palace.
