Australian troops pay floral tribute in Khon Kaen
Twenty troops representing the Australian Army laid funeral flowers in respect of His Majesty the late King Rama IX at a temple in Khon Kaen.
The Australian Army officers, who were taking part in the joint Thai-US Army exercise Chapel Gold 2017 in Khon Kaen, laid the funeral flowers at Wat Pa Saeng Aroon.
The Australian troops were accompanied by Lt-Colonel Sanya Yothanan, the commander of the Third Infantry Battalion of the Eighth Infantry Regiment.
The Australian troops are undertaking the exercise at the Siharaj Decochai fort in Khon Kaen from October 20 to November 4.
