Phichit people give alms to monks for late King
Phichit Governor Weerasak Wichitsaensri led the people of the province to offer alms to 109 monks to make merit for His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej on the second morning after his Royal Cremation.
The rite was held at the old Phichit provincial hall in front of a 150-metre wall where the provincial administration displayed 84 paintings of the late King.
The paintings on what the locals call “the wall of loyalty” depicted the various activities of the beloved late King.
