Krabi to seek permission to keep Royal Crematorium replica
The Krabi provincial administration will seek permission from the Royal Household Bureau to keep the Royal Crematorium replica as a monument, a senior official said on Saturday.
Wichai Kampheepreecha, chief town and planning officer of Krabi, said the provincial administration wanted to preserve the replica because it is located in a beautiful site.
If permission is granted, the provincial administration will renovate the replica with more durable materials, he said.
On Saturday, Thais and tourists continued to visit the replica inside the Krabi public park in Muang district to take photos.
