Mae Hong Song governor Suebsak Iamwichan led Red Cross Society officials to visit flood-affected hill-tribe people and survey damages in Bang Huai Sua Thao in Tambon Pha Bong of Muang district on Sunday.

The village was hit by flash floods on Thursday, resulting in three completely ruined houses and two partially damaged homes. Goods in three shops were swept away in the floods and a bridge to the village damaged.
Officials brought 33 relief packages to flood victims, while the Red Cross Society said they would build three homes for those whose houses had completely collapsed and ensure related agencies repaired the partially ruined homes.
