NLA to support Toon’s campaign
The National Legislative Assembly on Thursday kicked off a campaign to support a singer’s campaign to raise funds to support needy hospitals.
The campaign, “ Walk with Toon”, is aimed at supporting the singer’s efforts to raise funds for 11 needy hospitals nationwide.
He began his running campaign early this month from the deep South and aims to finish in the North. He has managed to raise funds worth more than Bt320 million so far.
Pornpetch Wichitcholchai said Toon’s marathon has encouraged goodness in people’s hearts while demonstrating importance of exercise, which the NLA promotes among parliamentarians and officials for good health.
The NLA has managed to collect Bt400,000, which will be donated to Toon later.
