Man’s body floats to house on Mae Klong Bay
A homeowner in Samut Songkram woke up to find the body of an unidentified man trapped at the front of his house at the mouth of the Mekong River near the Gulf of Thailand on Friday morning.
Terrified owner Pachara Prasertsook, 52, called the Mueang Samut Songkra police station which dispatched officers and rescue officials to the scene.
The unidentified man was about 160 centimetres tall and appeared to be about 30 to 35 years old. He was believed to have died two days ago.
People in the neighbourhood said they have never seen the man.
The body was sent for an autopsy at the Police Hospital’s Forensic Medicine Institute.
