Well-timed support for embattled senior official
THE EMBATTLED Justice Ministry deputy permanent secretary Pol Colonel Dusadee Arawuit yesterday received a grateful message from the families of two men who had been wrongfully accused of murder.
Lawyer Yodmongkhon Sappaisansuk called on Dusadee to send thanks from Suwan Damaeng and Sivakorn Hassadong, the fathers of men who were almost jailed for a murder they did not commit. Their sons were cleared by the Supreme Court with the assistance of Dusadee and the Justice Ministry.
The message came as Dusadee faces trouble for siding with hit-and-run convict Jomsap Saenmuangkhot, whose request for a retrial |was rejected by the Supreme Court, which cited evidence indicating someone had tried to falsely take responsibility for the |crash.
Dusadee is facing an investigation launched by the Justice Ministry.
