As of press time, 2,000 people had been treated at Sonthaya&rsquo;s clinic in Muang Buri Ram, in what has been an annual event for 22 years. 
Businesspeople set up 200 booths near the clinic on Niwat Road to distribute free food and beverages.&nbsp;

Buri Ram Governor Anusorn Kaewkanwan made the rounds giving moral support to the doctors, nurses and volunteers. 
Sonthaya has done this freely twice a year since 1995, on December 5 and July 18, and estimates that he and the other medical practitioners, all of whom volunteer their time, have treated 20,000 people in that period.

200 doctors offer free services on Father's Day

Dr Sonthaya “Mor Jai Boon” Wattanakosol and 200 other doctors and nurses from 12 provinces spent Father’s Day (Tuesday) treating underprivileged people for free in honour of His Majesty King Bhumibol’s birthday.
