Army chief tours Pattani in preparation for King’s visit
Army Commander-in-Chief Gen Chalermchai Sitthisart was in Pattani on Thursday morning checking security measures ahead of a planned visit by His Majesty the King on December 9.
Chalermchai, also deputy director of the Internal Security Operations Command, was in the southern border province with Army Chief-of-Staff Gen Natthapol Nakpanich, secretary general of ISOC.
Chalermchai and his entourage also met flood victims in Pattani and Songkhla.
