First frost of year in Phitsanulok delights tourists
Tourists at the popular Hmong village on top the 1,400-metre Phu Hin Rongkla National Park were treated with the first frost of the year on Tuesday morning.
Authorities said the ground level temperature at the village dropped to 2 degrees Celsius, causing a layer of frost across the area.
The temperature at the park office was measured at 7C.
Excited tourists at the Hmong village took photos of the frost and several tourists had to warm themselves around fires.
