Homeless man found dead under Lat Phrao bridge

The body of the unidentified man, who appeared to be 40 to 50 years old and was believed to have been homeless, was spotted at 8am under the bridge on the side of Saint John’s University on the inbound Vibbhavadi-Rangsit Road.
The man was seen lying in an area surrounded by chain-link fence wearing only a loincloth.
A forensics doctor from the Police Hospital said the man apparently had died two days ago of a chronic ailment aggravated by cold weather. His body was sent for an autopsy at the Police Hospital.
Pol Captain Somyos Madsanga, a deputy inspector at the Sutthisan police station, said the area where the body was littered with rubbish and not frequented by the public.
The body showed no signs of having been attacked, he added.
